Consulting Snapshot

My consulting work sits at the intersection of software engineering research, hands-on product development, university teaching, and partner-based delivery. The archive behind this page covers independent projects, product labs, collaborations with software companies, mentoring engagements, enterprise systems, health and finance-oriented platforms, event-driven integration, and cloud/DevOps industrialization work.

Partner delivery

Work with product teams and software companies where architecture, implementation, and team enablement must move together.

Confidentiality note: this page deliberately describes capabilities, sectors, architectures, and modes of contribution. It avoids operational secrets, private client data, credentials, internal domains, and sensitive details about clients of clients.

Infrastructure Evidence

Kubernetes automation

Ansible-based cluster setup: packages, swap/network preparation, kubectl, kubeadm deployment, worker join flow, and Helm installation.

Jenkins to Kubernetes

Pipelines that build backend/frontend/tool images, push them to registries, and deploy Kubernetes manifests through managed kubeconfig.

Ansible operations

Playbooks and roles for Linux service lifecycle, middleware provisioning, deployment steps, and repeatable server-side operations.

Kafka platform work

Spring Kafka producers/consumers, Avro serialization, Schema Registry, Kafka Connect, AKHQ, Zookeeper, broker roles, and packaging concerns.

Multi-environment delivery

Training, staging, production, local/demo profiles, Docker Compose stacks, Jenkinsfiles, and controlled configuration preparation.

Quality forge

Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, test execution, artifact publication, traceability, backup/restore, and delivery documentation.

How I Intervene

ModeWhat I usually bringUseful when
Technical diagnosisA structured reading of the system, risks, delivery process, codebase, architecture, and team constraints.A project is blocked, fragile, hard to deploy, hard to test, or hard to explain.
Architecture and framingDomain maps, target architecture, decomposition strategy, technology choices, trade-off analysis, and implementation roadmap.A team needs to start, modernize, split, stabilize, or scale a software product.
Hands-on engineeringBackend, frontend, API, mobile, testing, documentation, migration, integration, and release work. The project needs senior implementation capacity with architectural continuity.
Delivery industrializationCI/CD pipelines, artifact management, quality gates, environment discipline, packaging, backup, and release traceability.Manual delivery has become too risky, slow, person-dependent, or difficult to audit.
Training and mentoringCode review, workshops, pair debugging, architecture clinics, learning paths, and standards that teams can actually use.A team must grow in autonomy while still shipping real work.

Sectors and Problem Spaces

Problem spaceRepresentative contributionPublic-safe description
Financial and regulated platformsArchitecture, modular backend design, admin frontends, identity, billing, reporting, and compliance-oriented workflows.Work around systems where auditability, traceability, data integrity, and role-based access matter.
Health and service platformsMulti-application ecosystems, service APIs, authentication, notifications, payments, storage, and Angular clients.Experience with platforms that coordinate users, service providers, benefits, documents, and operational workflows.
ERP and business managementDomain decomposition, product modules, accounting/asset/payroll/mobile components, release packaging, and deployment discipline.Support for teams maintaining broad product families with many repositories and heterogeneous outputs.
Education and mentoringFrontend, React, web development, testing, debugging, code review, and developer confidence-building.Professional mentoring and teaching habits applied to real projects and learning journeys.
Research-to-product engineeringWorkflow modeling, service orientation, reusable generators, process runtimes, documentation templates, and scientific utilities.Transfer of academic software engineering ideas into practical tools and product prototypes.

My Consulting Bias

I do not see consulting as advice detached from implementation. My strongest contributions happen when I can connect diagnosis, modeling, code, tests, delivery, documentation, and people. The goal is not only to ship a feature or install a tool, but to leave behind a system that the team can understand, extend, operate, and teach to the next person.
